Miami International Airport poster - MIA Jet Age Version

$35.00

This new Miami International Airport Jet Age poster brings back the glory days of MIA’s famed 20th Street Terminal, dedicated in 1959 and once the largest centralized airport terminal in the world. Anchoring the scene is Chris Bidlack’s detailed rendering of the long‑demolished terminal, flanked by a classic Pan American 707 tail on one side and National Airlines’ iconic “Sun King” 727 tail on the other—two carriers that helped define Miami’s rise as a true gateway to Latin America.

Overhead, an Eastern Air Lines L‑1011 TriStar—introduced on the Miami–New York route in 1972 with ship N301EA—climbs into the South Florida sky in its original, mostly white Jet Age livery, recalling the widebody era when Eastern dominated its hometown hub. The poster’s airline roll call captures many of the carriers serving MIA around 1972, when the airport was booming as a crossroads of North and South America.

Printed at 14" wide by 20" tall (including a one‑inch white border) on heavyweight, acid‑free poster stock, this art print is designed to frame beautifully in a home office, den, or hangar wall. It arrives carefully packaged and ready for you to unroll and frame — perfect for anyone who remembers the 20th Street Terminal or simply loves classic Jet Age Miami.
